spirulina smoothie.

INGREDIENTS 

1 banana

1 cup frozen cauliflower

1/2 tablespoon terrasoul spirulina 

2 tablespoons trader joe’s cashew butter

1 handful spinach

1 cup pecan MALK

flax seed to garnish

NOTE: you can always add dates to the mix, if you want something a little sweeter!

DIRECTIONS

  1. put all ingredients in a blender and blend until it’s a smooth consistency.
  2. once I finish blending – I like to check the taste with a spoon and see if it’s how I want it. if it’s too watery, I will add more frozen cauliflower – or if it’s too thick (and I want it more watery), I add more MALK. you just have to go with what works best for you!
  3. pour into a cup, sprinkle with flax seeds and you’re all set!

NOTE: I purchase MALK from Whole Foods and I absolutely love it (they also have cashew and almond milk), but if you can’t get this – almond milk will work just fine. I added a link to the MALK locations below.
